I. Brief history of the company
RadioLAN Ltd. started as a micro-firm, whose founding members are the owners and the
leaders as well. In an estabilished and accustomed environment, with more than 7 years
of experience, first as Internet 24 deposit company, later Internet Sziget deposit
company (Internet-Island), the company was present in the informatic, computer and
even the Internet business too. It has proven itself in the early era of the server-side
programming, program-planning and Web-development, that it is rewarding to work
precisely and accurately for our hundreds of customers. In order to stand on several
pillars and to increase our income, the company searched for more and more markets
that are closely connected to informatics. The best investment, and also the fastest one
to payback the money invested in it proved to be telecommunications. For this task from
2000, we were planning to estabilish a stand-alone company, so in October 2001
RadioLAN Ltd. was founded.
Our headquarters is located within the 15-20km (~9-12 miles) from Budapest, the
Hármashatár-mountain, the highest point of the capital, is an excellent place to cover
almost the whole Pest-county area.
RadioLAN Ltd. is currently the only network-building and maintenance service in Hungary
and Central-Europe which started its installment of microwave data transmission and
routing on ISM aka FREE band frequencies, and later bought professional, redundant and
uninterrupted backbone tools using LICENSED frequencies.

II/1. Value of fixed assets
From October 2001, until Jun. 2007 continous investments lead the company to own
servers, switches, cable-networks, optical-sections, microwave point-to-point and pointto-
multipoint equipments, data-forwarding equipments, routers. As fixed assets, the
value of these is more than net 400,000 USD and the intanglibe and strategical value of
the telecommunicational structure is above 700,000 USD.
II/2. Value of current assets
Our company stores only a minimum amount of current assets in its depository and only
which are required for immediate service or troubleshooting tasks. The overall value of
these is not more than 9,300 USD.
II/3. Investments in infrastructural, telecommunicational network
developments
During the developed backbone, cable and microwave network planning and building, we
kept a few guidelines from the start, so the network can be upgraded flexibly,
dynamically and also inexpensively, so we can guarantee smooth serving the end-points
of other partner-providers both in contract and in practice. The linking between our and
out partner's subnetworks is already given, and we make it an effort to provide serving
to newer-networks too. To ease and simplify this, we estabilished a microwave center in
the direct neighbourhood of the Budapest Internet Exchange, at Budapest, XIII. disctrict,
Victor Hugo str. 11-15.
II/4. Strategical points which further the ability to link telecommunicational
networks
We, as a solitary alternative provider, operate a node in the Invitel telephone exchange
in the telephone switch of Invitel's 24th district, to which connects our self-owned cablesection.
A long-term lease enables us to have extended a direct-link to an optical backbone line
which can throughput 1 Gigabit/sec data transfer rate, this way directly, other switchingnetworks
(CabelTV and microwave), and partners can connect using optical end-points.
II/5. Legal relations acquired during operating and upgrading microwavebased
networks
Our valid and exclusive contracts in the highest points of the region ensure full optical
and physical visibility.

II/6. Seat of the company, server-room strategical and other aspects
The link that connects to our seat of company which is also our server-room is a selfowned
cable-section, which provides continous and inexpensive reservation.
II/7. Number of actual contracts with subscribers
Our clients resort to out Internet data-networking services at more than 160 locations,
which mean over more than 200 customers. Our partners and wholesale selling partners
have another 650-700 customers who subscribed to broadband data-transfer, Internet
and also VoIP services at about 600-620 end-points...
II/8. Number of clients connectable to the network
At the moment our backbone access could provide for another 1800-2000 customers.
Taking the value of the present infrastructure in account, with only minimal investments
(around 233,500-280,200 USD), multiples of this value could be served with Internet on
the present, and also the additional network.
II/9. Quality-value factor of the end-point backbone
Our backbone and BIX server is the ECC Hungary deposit company. ECC, with around
10 Gigabit/sec bandwidth, a BIX peering partner, provides us unlimited domestic and
favorable foreign access, guaranteed by a long-term contract.
At ECC, the serving routers', lines' and human-resources' quality is appropriate and the
service is continous. Assurance to this is the time spent in cooperation, providing
Internet. The quality of the foreign lines is assured by the remarkable references of ETEL
Hungary Ltd. and INTERROUTE Co.
In January 2006, we estabilished a 100 Megabit/sec OPTICAL BACKBONE from the
Budapest Internet Exchange (BIX) to Halásztelek, so the microwave-section built in 2005
operates as a redundant spare-line. We signed a long-term contrac with the Horizont
CableTV Ltd., which enables the CableTV network to provide Internet to its customers.
This transmitting point is a branch of a recently installed self-owned optical-section. We
are also a solution-delivering, informatics-counseling and system-supervising company,
for our contractual partners. In matters of outsourced operation, SCNet Ltd. and CDC
Computer Ltd., in regions of Üröm and Ócsa will reprovide the wholesaler distributed
routing switch backbone service.
II/10. Geographical location of the end-point backbone
One of the transmitter of the end-point backbones is located in the Invitel telephone
exchange center of Invitel's 24th district, providing us with inexpensive and appropriate
telecommunicational lines with uninterruptable electricity supplies. The other end-point is
located at the Local Firestation where the uninterruptable electricity supply is provided by
batteries and a generator.
II/11. Connection of end-point backbone on self-owned track
The link between the end-point transmitter and the Local Library consist of self-installed
and self-owned microwave point-to-point, laid cable and COAXIAL cable-sections.
Currently it supports up to 10 Megabit/sec throughput, but with minimal efforts it could
be sped up to 100 Megabit/sec, 155 Megabit/sec or even 1 Gigabit/sec. The length of the
section is 365 meters. The telephone exchange center, assures the further, hussle-free
and inexpensive dynamic upgrades, because its distance is minimal to the end-point and
also the Library.
II/12. The ”company-image”, based on the marketing activities mentioned
above
The opinion formed about the company, professional recognition is not just domestic, but
outstanding in European measures. We were founding members of the Association of
Wireless Network Providers in Hungary. We take a large part in planning microwave
networks, building sub-networks throughout the country. We do not just offer services in
Hungary but also in several other European countries, and we already had customers
from Slovakia, Romania, Ukrania, Serbia and Croatia, who asked for counseling,
network-building, microwave data-forwarding equipment installation, configuration as
well as delivering full-network systems.
II/13. Human-resources, experience and specialized knowledge
Our colleagues, employees, associates, programmers and system administrators
regularly attend to vocational trainings. They take a large part in contributing to
”Wireless” topics on Linux and BSD mailing lists, publicating documentations, translations
and exchanging experiences... They exceed expectations in highscaler competitions!
They are experts in installing, configurating, uninstalling and disassembling
telecommunicational equipments.
Employees with Cisco-grade academical qualifications: 2 people, 2 people attending
MikroTik & Linux system-engineer courses, funded by us, within the confines of a
subcontract. Highscaler jobs also within subcontractors (3 subcontractors), and
programming and planning jobs are done with 2 subcontractors each, since the
begginings.
II/14. Tools, machines, measuring devices, shop-assembly tools and
troubleshooting devices
One Mazda B2200 small truck, one Ford Transit truck and one Mitsubishi Pajero, and full instrumentation, needed tools and equipments are available from a ladders, voltage meters to analyzing softwares at disposal... In terms of payed leasing contracts, self-owned vehicles: 2 trucks, and 1 4x4 jeep.
II/15. ERP systems and other crucial softwares
We have a personal SQL-database driven ERP software, which has proven itself in billing
and registration of customers, cash-flow evaluation, analyzation and some other valueanalyzing,
statistical and calculational abilities...
III. Brief strategical plans for the future
The owners and leaders of out company would like to provide an excellent alternative
besides other ADSL and CableTV provider, as a recognized, inexpensive and high-quality
provider, as well as signing contracts with more and more CableTV service providers and
subcontractors, so we can extend our network, and create more HYBRID backbones.
The increase of the income can be achieved by planting new transmitting points at new
geographical locations and also by building subnetworks with subcontractors in
cooperation with them.
Our destinations to expand our networks to are:

- Kápolnásnyék, Pákozd, Gárdony, around the Lake Velencei,
- 1000 homes at a subdivision, Szigetszentmiklós-Lakihegy (project in-progress)
- 72 homes at a subdivision, Szigetszentmiklós, (project in-progress)
- 1200 block flats, Tököl, (project in-progress)
- Gyál, Alsónémedi, Vecsés, Üllő, Monor, (project in-progress)
- Gyömrő, Pécel, …
Analyzing statistical data and professional evaluations, we have come to find out, that
HYBRID networks are always more cost effective, so they payback the money faster and
safer, than other types. So we will continue to equip them making our financial state
more stable, our market share continously larger.
Our pre-contracts are ready. The unity of the available technologies and the extant
structure are only the matter of management and technical linking and well-prepared
quality marketing activities...
Besides our marketable prices, significat availability and continous expanding we also
make a great effort in expanding in Central-Europe, mainly with pioneering VoIP and
IPTV services. We have serious business contacts including with ETEL, who already
almost covers the whole European region. This business system is able to receive the
services waiting to be provided aiming Romania, Slovakia, Croatia, Ukrania and Serbia.
Our goal is to recapitalize our company and our management, which will by all means
change the structure of the company.
